9-1127a. Without regard to the provisions of K.S.A. 9-1127b and 9-1127c, a state bank may invest in a bank service corporation that performs, and a bank service corporation may perform, the following services only for depository institutions: (a) Check and deposit sorting and posting, computation and posting of interest and other credits and charges; (b) preparation and mailing of checks, statements, notices and similar items; or (c) any other clerical, bookkeeping, accounting, statistical or similar functions performed for a depository institution. |
