Chairman invited Jason Thompson to brief the committee on the history and the contents of SB180 - Providing for law enforcement agencies to request and receive files concerning applicants previously employed by another state or local law enforcement agency. (Attachment 1) Mr. Thompson offered a proposed balloon amendment to update the bill to the current year. (Attachment 2) Mr. Thompson answered questions from committee members.
The Chairman announced that written comments on SB180 will be accepted up to 1:00pm on Monday, January 29, from those who would like to comment on the bill at this stage in the process.
