Chairperson Bowers opened final action on SB8. Chuck Reimer, staff revisor, reviewed the bill. Questions by the Committee were addressed by staff.
Senator Doll moved, Senator Sykes seconded, to recommend SB8 favorably for passage.
Mr. Reimer distributed and explained a balloon amendment. (Attachment 1)
Questions from the Committee were addressed.
Senator Doll moved, Senator Skubal seconded, to adopt the balloon amendment. Motion carried.
Senator Doll moved, Senator Faust-Goudeau seconded, to create Sub for SB8 and recommend favorably for passage. Motion carried.
