Chairperson Longbine opened the hearing on HB2531.
Eileen Ma, Assistant Revisor, ROS, presented the Revisor's Memorandum brief and stood for questions. There were none. (Attachment 3) The Chairperson told Ms. Ma that an amendment might be needed in order to get this bill enacted quicker.
Eric Turek, Director of Government and Public Affairs, KID, provided oral proponent testimony on this bill requested by Mr Turek, on behalf of Vicki Schmidt, Insurance Commissioner. (Attachment 4)
Seeing no other questions, comments, or discussion, and there being no other proponent, opponent, or neutral testimony submitted, Chairperson Longbine closed the hearing on HB2531, and pointed the members' attention to HB2532.
