Minutes for HB2037 - Committee on Veterans and Military

Short Title

Relating to the veterans benefit lottery games, creating the veterans benefit lottery game fund and transferring moneys to veterans service programs.

The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Lonnie Clark at 9:00 am.  Representatives from VFW and American Legion seated in the gallery were welcomed.   The hearing on HB2037 continued.       Mr. Keith Kocher, Kansas Lottery, provided an overview of the operations of the Kansas Lottery and submitted testimony in favor of HB2037  (Attachment 1)    Certain questions were asked and answered.  Representative Pittman motioned to close the hearing on HB2037. Representative Warfield seconded.    Motion Carried.
